Herdsires
LCLL Alloy Brass ~ Registered Herdsire

LCLL Alloy Brass has served our herd well for 2 seasons. He has never missed in his breeding combinations and is not overly aggressive with our girls, which means we can leave him in the breeding pen longer when it suits our purposes. The kids we have received from Alloy have been robust and are demonstrating the early Kiko traits that we look for: easy gains, hoof performance, parasite resistance, and good temperament. Alloy is easy to handle; he isn't overly friendly, but he is very respectful. Getting into a pen with him is never a concern because he keeps comfortable distance. He can be caught with grain relatively easily, collared, and led with a lead rope where needed. Most importantly, he doesn't use his head for personal protection against us when we need to trim hooves, administer vaccines, or perform general health checks. We would keep Alloy for his ease and performance, but in order to offer diversity to our clients, he will need to move to his next harem. Alloy is registered with the NKR as 100% New Zealand; the AKGA also recognizes his genetics under AKGA Purebred registry. This means Alloy can produce NKR NZ kids or AKGA or NKR Purebred kids, depending on the registry of the dam. LCLL Alloy Brass is offered for $900 with complimentary NKR registration transfer.
2026 Kids
Success ~ Purebred Doeling

Kids from this line are always winners. Success is new to the sale list but is weaned and ready to go. Molly was planning on retaining this doe, however, with only one spot available left in her herd, she has elected to invest in a full-grown doe to fill the final spot given the years left that she has at home. Success had 0.4 gains and we would expect her to be on the bigger side like her dam, SMRL Victory, and grandam, LCLL Surrender. Success is available for $600 unregistered or $675 registered with the NKR.

Liberty ~ Percentage Doeling

Liberty is a pretty percentage doeling that can be expected to grow out to a hefty doe. Her dam exhibits excellent mothering skills and as a first freshener, kidded her twins unassisted in the field while we were away on an overnight trip. Liberty is 75% Kiko, 18.75% Boer, and 6.25% Toggenberg. Every part of me wants to retain this doeling, alas, hard decisions must be made. Liberty will be available for $550 in September (add $75 for NKR registry as a percentage Kiko)

Cheerie is a bottle supplemented twin due to her dam accidentally being bred at 10-months-old. She is a spunky doeing that has a knack for getting exactly what she needs to keep her growth pattern up. Cheerie will be available in early September for $450. NKR registry eligibility will depend on growth patterns through the summer.

Savvy was an accidental pairing with then 6-month-old doeling, Parlay, and her sire Alloy Brass. Fortunately, the 11-month-old doeling kidded just a singleton. That said, Savvy has thrived at every turn, from being kidded on a hillside on a rainy, cold day, to teaching her somewhat stunned dam how to mother her. It's a difficult thing making decisions on retention and sales, especially for a 15-year-old. Alliance (the brown and black doeling shown next to her brother, Hurricane) will assuredly be an outstanding performer like her dam. She is demonstrating top gains this season and has a beautiful confirmation. Her dam, Surrender, is one Molly's (our daughter) does and she only has room for one doeling retention this year. Since Molly already has another daughter from Surrender, she will reluctantly let Alliance go. Alliance is eligible for NKR registry. **SOLD**

SMRL Alloy's Delight ~ NKR Registered 100% New Zealand Doe

We never saw when or where Delight got into the breeding pen, but somewhere around 10-months-old she was bred to KCR Cold Iron. We prefer to wait to start our new does breeding until 18 months of age with kidding close to age 2. Delight kidded her two 5.6 lb doelings unassisted and has proved herself to be good young mother. Due to her premature breeding and kidding, we have elected to bottle supplement the doelings, but they are still nursing and being raised by Delight. We will wean her doelings at the beginning of September and Delight will be available in November for $500 with complimentary NKR 100% NZ registry transfer.
SMRL Parley ~ Purebred Doe

Unfortunately, Parley squeezed into the breeding pen at 6-months-old, and to our surprise, kidded unassisted in the field on a cold, rainy day in April. We've never had a doe this young kid before and we have also never had a doe kid a singleton. Thankfully, nature was kind to her, because she was able the raise the 6.2 lb doeling efficiently with 0.4 lb gains with no supplementation. Parley was being retained by the Ranch because she comes from the excellently performing line coming from LCLL Surrender. We have never been disappointed with the does that have come from this line. We expect Parley to go on to become a productive dam with excellent mothering skills. We have weaned and sold her doeling and Parley will spend the next 4 months on a variety of browse recovering from pregnancy and lactation. In November, we will breed Parley; she will be available as a bred doe for $600 in December following a positive pregnancy blood test. Parley can be registered with the NKR for an additional $75.

Leeli is a gentle doe with a beautiful topline and strong Lookout Point Ranch genetics. She is low in the pecking order for our herd, which makes the way we manage our winter operations a challenge, otherwise we would retain her. Leeli easily kidded triplets for her first freshening. We elected to bottle feed one of her doelings, but she has mothered and supported the other 2 kids beautifully. **SOLD**

Artemis is the fan favorite in our herd and always comes running to greet us. She was a 2025 bottle baby that we elected to take off her older dam that had kidded triplets.
